Bachelor star Jake Pavelka isn't gay, but he tells In Touch that he "has tons of gay fans" and encourages them to come see him as the celebrity host of the famous Chippendales show.
Jake is thrilled about his stint as guest host of the show, telling In Touch, "my job is to get the crowd as excited as possible, which I intend to do." Jake has been doing CrossFit and staying on a diet of 3,000 calories a day to get in shape for it, but admits that, "seeing all the men backstage made me a bit insecure."
Jake, who had a famous falling out with his Bachelor season winner, Vienna Girardi, is now happy in a new relationship. Jake says that his girlfriend Ashley Ann Vickers, is "totally supportive and excited about me doing the show," adding, "she will probably be in the audience every night!"
When we asked the normally very conservative Jake why he wanted to do this, he said, "I never want to have any regrets in my life and I knew I just couldn't pass this opportunity up!" As far as the perception that many men in the Chippendales show are gay is concerned, Jake doesn't judge adding, "I don't get why people slam others for their sexual orientation. I don't judge anyone for that stuff, bring on the haters!"
Jake will be hosting from February 23 to March 18 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
